Injection Molding Cost Checker is published by Joseph Ellul, trading as an independent data and introduction site registered in Malta. We are not a manufacturer, we are not owned by one, and we do not take a share of any job that follows an introduction.
Why this site exists
Because the sourcing market makes you ask before it tells you anything. Almost every site that will quote your part hides what drives the price behind a form, so a first-time buyer cannot tell a fair quote from a bad one, and cannot tell whether they are even asking for the right process. This site publishes the design rules that set the price and the federal data on where US capacity actually sits, and puts the quote route after that rather than in front of it.
Who it is for
For the person who has a design and needs it made by somebody else: a design engineer, a product developer, a procurement buyer at a small manufacturer, or a founder taking a first product into production. Not for people buying machines, learning a trade, or studying materials.
What it does not do
- We do not publish a cost figure we cannot source. There is no calculator here pretending to know what your part costs, because the honest inputs are your geometry and quantity and we do not have them until you tell us.
- We do not count injection moulders. No NAICS class measures them, so this site reports plastics-product establishments under the Census name and never dresses that up as a count of moulders.
- We do not rank manufacturers or sell a position in a list. Enquiries are routed by which shops run the process, never by who paid.
- We do not quote on a manufacturer's behalf and nothing on this site is a price.
