What this service is

Injection Molding Cost Checker is an introduction service and an independent data site. We publish measured figures about US manufacturing capacity and pass enquiries to manufacturers. We do not make parts, we do not quote on anyone's behalf, and nothing here is a price.

How we are paid

Manufacturers pay us for enquiries they accept. That never changes what a buyer is quoted and never costs a buyer anything.

The capacity index

Figures in the capacity index derive from the US Census Bureau's County Business Patterns 2022 state file, read from the Bureau's own bulk distribution. Every class is labelled with its Census name. No NAICS class counts injection moulders specifically, and none is presented as though it did.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep the data accurate and current, and the source and vintage of every figure are named beside it.
